Hon. Geoff Regan P.C. 36th Speaker of the House of Commons with his painting - 14th Annual Salon 2024 Best in Category

Unveiling of the official portrait of the Honourable Geoff Regan, P.C., 36th Speaker of the House of Commons Ottawa, Ontario. Mr. Regan's portrait is quite unique, in that it includes a painting of rural Nova Scotia that he painted (repainted by me in the portrait), which is behind him. People there from Atlantic Canada got very emotional when it was unveiled – Geoff was the first Nova Scotian Speaker of the House of Commons in almost 100 years!

The House of Commons ceremony in Ottawa to unveil the official portrait of former MP Geoff Regan, who served as the Speaker of the House between 2015 and 2019.
